August 7th (Monday) Middle School Open House

MS Families will go through their child’s daily schedule and visit each class for a twenty-minute session.

We will open our doors at 8:30 am where you can pick up your child’s schedule, a map of campus, and make your way to their first period class.

The first period presentation will begin at 9:00 am and the last period presentation will conclude at 12:15 pm.

Each subject will have a twenty-minute session followed by a five-minute period to change classes.

The daily schedule will include a technology session and specials and extra-curricular activity session.

Any family who is unable to attend the Open House, or a portion of it, may visit their child’s classes from 1:15-3:00 pm that afternoon.

August 7th (Monday) New Middle School Family Technology Orientation

The session will be from 1:15-2:30 pm.

New Middle School families are encouraged to attend this orientation.

Families will be introduced to CANVAS and receive instructions how to use this tool to observe your child’s coursework, assignments, calendar, and grades.

Families will also receive instructions on how to use our digital safety product Securly. This application allows us to filter and monitor content on your child’s iPad and allows you, the parent to monitor and observe your child’s activity as well.

This session will also give you a general overview of educational technology that we use at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School.
